Loopback vs audio hijack10/7/2023 ![]() USB 4 AIR IN The Analog Air input send to Mac/PC. The USB of the Airlite can be accessed as follows Some people use a separate computer for this.Ģ. Analog out of Airlite as you have described. However, I think there are 2 ways to stream from the Airlite:ġ. I don't stream my output as the station has a separate system for this. And please let us know if you need any further information. >Anything you could offer would be greatly appreciated. ![]() (We would just hammer at this ourselves and not bother you, but we are up against a launch deadline and feeling the pressure!) >Could you suggest a solution that could use perhaps Loopback to accomplish this? We just bought Loopback, and we are a bit new to it. ![]() >Theoretically, it seems it should function, but it seems a bit clumsy with just too much analog in the solution. (This removes the very functional metadata process you have, but somehow the dev of Radiologik allows an old Nicecast preference to reapply it back to Hijack.) >- Then analog output back to the Mac via Line In or Audio Interface and on to Audio Hijack. >- Take audio from Radiologik DJ downstream to the console via USB We understand that we simply need to re-route our signal chain, but the most-often recommended way is to. Audio Hijack (Hopefully assisted by Loopback) I am helping set up a community radio station that is based around: Here is a better explanation of the issue and environment from our tech guy. Is anyone out there running Mac/RadiologikDJ/Airlite, and willing to provide some advice? THANKS! Definitely hoping we don't have a hardware fail on the Airlite. We hope that we are just missing a simple connection or config setting. Even after getting some input from Radiologik and D&R, we still can't seem to bring it home. Been working at this for some time and beginning to wonder if these components are not designed to play well together. (We have to use a mouse pointing at Radiologik) We are also unable to get the mic to work. We are UNABLE to make the Airlite fire songs, or to make the sliders fade. We are successfully getting live music, artwork, and metadata out to typical devices. We have selected what we believe are "best in class" components: Mac running iTunes, High Sierra RadiologicDJ D&R Airlite mixer Loopback, Audio Hijack, and to get out to the internet. I am not the tech guy, but he will be executing any suggestions we can solicit. We are a new startup community station in North Georgia.
